I have 15 years of Risk and Finance experience in the financial services industry, working in the London and Singapore offices of Barclays Investment Bank and PriceWaterhouseCoopers.
I first discovered my passion for training when I took on an internal trainer role in PwC London, training peers and senior managers from other specialisations on the topic of Reinsurance.
Over the next decade in the industry, I built on my training experience via external and internal trainer roles, including being the Institute-appointed tutor in Singapore for the Accounting module of the ACA Professional Stage exams by ICAEW and being a Working Group member of the Women’s Initiative Network and a Dynamic Working Champion in Barclays Singapore. I was an active panelist, facilitator and organiser of internal diversity training events on retaining female talent and flexible working arrangements and represented Barclays in external diversity events.
Guided by my belief in continuous learning and development for all and my passion in helping others translate the benefits into their daily lives, I embarked on a career change towards being a corporate trainer, facilitator and coach.
In my new role as a corporate trainer, facilitator and coach, I seek to combine my passion for learning and training with my vast global industry experience to prepare and equip others for success in their careers and studies. Using my strengths in presentation, communication, coaching and interpersonal skills, I look to create motivational and collaborative learning environments.
"The best part of training?
The positive energy generated during our sessions and, more importantly, seeing the training translate into participants’ daily lives."
"What is Coaching?"
"Coaching is unlocking a person's potential to maximise their own performance. It is helping them to learn rather than teaching them."
